Smart Charlie's began based on the premise of transparency. I had learned all the amazing benefits of hydroxyapatite as an alternative to fluoride, but quickly became paralyzed by all the different options on the market.

Determining validity of particle sizing, concentration, and origin of hydroxyapatite was nearly impossible. It was at that time I made the commitment to create my own product, one in which ingredient composition was understood, and gain full confidence in those abilities to heal and protect the mouth.

In working with the very best supplier, they have provided the only nano-hydroxyapatite in the world scrutinized and approved as safe for oral care cosmetics by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) European authorities. This nano hydroxyapatite is of highest purity, biocompatible, paraben free, vegan, and meets all requirements of nano particle sizing and shape guaranteed.

While we make other safe and natural products, I am most proud and impressed with our toothpaste. I've seen first hand the benefits; from extreme sensitivity I had with my teeth, to reversing the signs of cavity in our 3 year old. The improvement in enamel is remarkable; most noticeably reversing gum recession, (while rebuilding enamel), and creating glossier and whiter teeth!
